Touch for Health
In Touch for Health (TFH), compiled by John F. Thie, a synthesis of Western and Chinese medicine (TCM) is made for the first time by determining the energy state of individual meridians through specific muscle tests.
Neuro-Energetic Kinesiology is a fascinating new development in kinesiology, which can be traced back to Hugo Tobar. His discoveries were based on Richard Utt’s Applied Physiology and the LEAP program.
LEAP is a specialized program for optimizing learning and performance in all areas. It was developed by Dr. Charles Krebs, a natural scientist from Melbourne, in collaboration with clinical psychologists and neurologists.
The muscle test was already used by orthopedists in the early 20th century to better understand muscle movements. Since George Goodheart’s discovery that it provides information about the energetic state of the body, it has been used in kinesiology as a biofeedback system.
The nutrition according to the five elements comes from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The principles of nutrition are explained there. These principles are not only valid for the Chinese but can be useful for everyone.
Physical centering is a topic sought in all Chinese sports. The better the feeling for the physical center is present, the easier and more effective exercises can be performed. However, these instructions are often executed incorrectly. The reason for this lies in the missing physical inner kinesthetic feeling. One cannot execute something abstract, i.e., verbally by instruction, that the body has not felt before.
Since 2000, I have been working as a professional kinesiologist with a focus on the brain. My clients benefit from my many years of experience and the well-balanced repertoire of methods I offer. The results are calmness and serenity.
